1. Application in ink
Ink is the largest consumer industry of organic pigments. The pigments used in ink are mainly classic organic pigments, accounting for about 55% to 60% of the total consumption. In recent years, various inks with different characteristics have developed rapidly, and their application performance has been continuously improved, especially in the fields of packaging paper and plastics. With the development of printing technology and printing equipment in the printing and decoration industry and the increase in the consumption of stationery, higher requirements have been placed on organic pigments not only in quantity but also in quality.
2. Application in coatings
Coatings are chemical materials that are applied to the surface of objects and form a paint film to impart protection, beautification or other desired effects. Organic pigments for coatings generally consider the dispersibility, optical properties, and fluidity of the pigments. Compared with printing inks, pigments for coatings are mainly high-performance organic pigments, which have higher requirements for light resistance, weather resistance, and heat resistance.
3. Application in plastics
The development of synthetic plastics not only increases the demand for its colorants year by year, but also puts forward higher requirements for the quality of colorants according to the characteristics of the coloring object, coloring process and processing conditions.
4. Application in rubber
In the process of rubber processing, a hot rolling mill or a mixing machine is used, and the operating temperature is 100 ° C ~ 110 ° C ,the temperature during vulcanization even can reach 140 ° C ~ 200 ° C. Therefore, the organic pigments are required to have sufficient heat resistance and no discoloration during vulcanization.
